Working Principle

The machine uses a propane-fueled burner to generate controlled flames, which are directed at battery samples. Test Principle

1. Setup: Fully charged batteries are secured on a mesh platform in the chamber.
2. Combustion Execution: The burner is ignited, and flames are adjusted to a set height (e.g., 38.1mm above the sample) to simulate thermal stress.
3. Post-Test Analysis: Batteries are assessed for structural damage, leaks, and toxic gas emissions. Thermal imaging and gas chromatography data validate compliance with safety thresholds.
